Crystal makes the Vaudoise aréna melt

It’s a totally unique show that is taking place at the Vaudoise aréna. “Crystal” brings together all the magical know-how for which Cirque du Soleil is known: cutting-edge technology for special effects, a dazzling mix of circus genres, an effective soundtrack punctuated by well-known hits, and a story that speaks to the whole family.

Dreamy and lonely, Crystal is running away from her existence as fast as her skates can take her when, suddenly, the ice of the Vaudoise aréna breaks and the young rebel finds herself sinking into the depths of a lake. There she meets her alter-egos who encourage her to write the story of her life herself…

In two hours (including a 20-minute intermission), we move fluidly – the scene changes are so discreet and quick! – from thrill to tenderness, from romance to action, from satyrdom to adrenaline without forgetting many touches of humor. And thanks to the incredible technical level (and the many hours of training!) of these 43 artists, all high level athletes, everything seems so easy…

Together with the characters of the show, we find ourselves flying over cities, waltzing on a splendid parquet floor, walking around in the coldness of an office like automats, playing acrobatic field hockey on a giant pinball machine. But Cirque du Soleil never forgets where it comes from, and between the incredible light shows and mapping, the nostalgic tenderness of a snowball fight with a clown reminds us that we all have a child’s soul somewhere.
