Play 25 european tour

25 September 2024

Doors: 18:30 | Show: 20:00

In celebration of the 25th anniversary of his hit album “Play”, Moby announces a European tour where he will revisit his greatest hits.

With over 20 million albums sold worldwide, Moby, named by his father 10 minutes after his birth because of his family connection with the novelist Herman Melville, author of “Moby Dick”, has been immersed in musical culture from an early age. He released his first single, Go, in 1991 (ranked as one of the best songs of all time by “Rolling Stone” magazine), and has been producing albums ever since.

Moby announces his first concert dates in over 10 years, and will be bringing his greatest hits to Europe in September! He comments, “It’s been over 10 years since I last toured, but someone reminded me that 2024 marked the 25th anniversary of the release of ‘Play’, so it seemed like not the worst idea to do a little European tour to commemorate and celebrate the event.” The show will include well-known songs from “Play”, but also crowd favorites like Extreme ways, We are all made of stars, When it’s cold i’d like to die, and even some old hits like Feeling so real and Go. What makes this tour even more exciting for me is that I won’t be paid at all. 100% of the profits from the tour will be donated to European animal rights organizations.”

The anniversary tour will kick off in London and finish in style at the Vaudoise arena in Lausanne on Wednesday, September 25, 2024.
