OVO, Cirque du Soleil

Cirque du Soleil is delighted to announce its return to Lausanne with OVO, a show bursting with energy and acrobatics. A thrilling Cirque du Soleil experience, OVO is a colorful intrusion into a day in the life of insects; an incessant explosion of energy and movement. Through spectacular acrobatics highlighting the unique personalities and abilities of selected insect species, OVO explores the beauty of biodiversity in all its contrasts and dynamism. For its relaunch in 2024, three new acts and new characters have been added to the happy OVO colony to delight audiences of all ages.

From powerful locusts bouncing on trampolines to a hypnotic spider contorting inside its web, OVO exudes an extraordinary sense of spectacle to tickle the imagination. Funny and chaotic, yet adorable and wonderful, OVO charms our inner child with its gentle exuberance. Comprising 100 people from 25 different countries, including 52 artists, OVO (“egg” in Portuguese) stages high-level acrobatic acts that redefine the limits of the human body. Since its creation in Montreal in 2009, OVO has thrilled over 7 million people in more than 160 cities and nearly 30 different countries.
